Hello! 안녕하세요!

I’m Leah (she/her). I’m a Senior UX/UI Designer enthusiastic about the intersection of culture, design, and education. In my work, I enjoy turning complex systems into more accessible and engaging experiences, both on- and off-screen.

I’m currently available for U.S. based remote UX/UI design opportunities. If you’re interested in connecting feel free to drop me a line. Email: leah garlock [dot] info [at] gmail [dot] com

Experience

I’m an alum of the U.S. Fulbright Student Program, where I worked for two years as an Elementary English Teaching Assistant in South Korea.

Prior to my Fulbright grant, I worked as a UX/UI designer at Constructive, a social impact design agency in New York City. I also partnered and co-collaborated with International Adoptee and Asian-American organizers and nonprofits, and was a Public Access Design Fellow through the Center of Urban Pedagogy (CUP).

Aside from professional and personal development, I’m the GEM Program Coordinator for KKOOM (꿈), a nonprofit that supports children and young adults in the Korean welfare system.

Just for fun

When I’m not designing, here is where you will find me…
